We decided to buy a bagged upright because my husband has allergies and we have dogs. For both reasons it was not recommended that we use a bagless. I purchased this as a backup for my Roomba 560. With a Roomba you still need a regular vacuum for spills, stairs, under furniture, etc. As soon as I opened the Hoover I tested it in my living room. Apparently my Roomba has not been doing a very good job, because the bag on the new Hoover was full just going around my 20x20 living room once. I like my new Hoover.
