Cheap Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum

This vacuum cleaner works fine as long as you are not planning on using the cleaning tool to any extent. First of all the hose is only 3 feet long and made of cheap, stiff plastic. If you stretch it in the least bit while using it, the vacuum cleaner will tip at an angle and can cause damage to your carpeting or flooring due to the fact that the roller is still rotating! Also, stretching the tool hose can cause the vacuum cleaner to move near throw rugs, drapes, bedding etc. and the rotating brush will pull the fabric in. Per the manual: CAUTION: Agitator continues to rotate while cleaner handle is in upright position. Avoid tipping or setting it on furniture, fringed area rugs or carpeted stairs during tool use.
Vacuuming the stairs without being able to set the machine on them is about impossible since the tool cleaner hose is short and can't be stretched without causing the vacuum cleaner tip. So far it has ruined a throw rug and worn a hole in some linoleum while I was using the cleaning tool. They should have made the roller stop when the handle is in the upright position. I would not recommend this vacuum cleaner for this reason.Get more detail about Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum.
