Buying Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum

Well, with well over 1000 positive reviews, I took the plunge and bought this vacuum, hoping it wouldn't be a piece of junk. Though it's not the sturdiest machine, and though there is a certain "cheap plastic" feel to parts of it, I was absolutely amazed at how well it works! My carpets haven't looked this good since they were first installed. Seriously! What I don't understand is how come this machine sells so cheaply. Maybe nobody at the Hoover vacuum company has noticed what a deal folks are getting. Even if this vacuum only lasts a year or two I would go ahead and purchase another. It's that good! If you're on a budget, or if you simply can't see any reason to buy a $300 vacuum when a $58 vaccuum will do the job, then you'll be pleasantly surprised!
