I would like to have known someone else was going to get them the same gift. I purchased this vacuum a while back for myself and one for a good friend. We both think it is a terrific product. This last one (the third one I purchased) was an X-Mas gift, and had to be returned for the reason above. It was my own fault, but it really bothered me I had to pay so much for the return shipping cost. In the future, I'll be a little reluctant to purchase another item by mail, especially a large item.
