Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum Review

I purchased this vacuum a few months back and love it! I wanted to wait until I had used it a while before I wrote a review. When I made the purchase I thought "well it's cheap and probably won't work that great but what the heck". Boy was I wrong! This vacuum has great suction. I really couldn't believe it. My old vacuum was well over $200 when I purchased it 7 years ago and didn't have near the power this one has. I am still amazed that I was able to get this type of vacuum for such a cheap price. It works better than I expected on hardwood floors. This vacuum is light and easy to pack around. The only thing that I don't like about it is the way you have to wrap the powercord on the back. I really feel bad about complaining at all because I feel I got a gread deal. The only other thing I would say is that this vacuum would not work well for someone with not a lot of strength as you have to push it (which I understood when I made the purchase). When I use this vacuum on short piled carpet it will pull itself but on my thick carpet I do have to push it. I don't mind at all as I could use the extra workout but thought I should mention this for those that don't have a lot of strength. Just so I'm clear on this, it doesn't take a weight lifter to push the vac around any normal person can do it with easy. All that said, I think this vacuum is a great buy and I'm not at all disappointed with it. I do tell all my friends.
