Great suction and lighter than most. Tool hose is a little short but I've heard that you can buy a optional extension. Suction is so good it has a tendancy to grab onto small area rugs. The tradeoff for a clean rug more than makes up for resetting a few area rugs. The one I bought was very inexpensive and the shipping was fast. You have to assemble some of the parts but its done quickly with a minimum of tools required. There mighy be better ones but they are twice the price and weight.
