This thing has got jets! It's so self-propelled you really have to hang on to it, yet very lightweight and easy to maneuver. Our carpeting has never BEEN so inhaled! It's also quieter than I'm used to. It's easy to assemble, and seems much sturdier and better built than the Hoover it's replacing for us. Ever since the guy at our local vacuum store told me the ONLY kind of vacuum that really works consistently is 'bagged,' that's all I've bought. This one is a joy, and it's easy on the eyes, too!
