The cleaner cleans it all up. A bit large for our 5th wheel, but two 17 y.o. cats and a 25 y.o. cocatiellots of hair and feathers on the rugs. We live here and although it's tight, it works. Cleans the floor and the carpet great. No problem with the roller band, suction doesn't eat the carpet. Rugs need extra consideration, because the suction is strong. But this is tru for any vacuum.
