Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum Order Now

We have six cats and two dogs and a living room carpet with a dark background. Need I say more? My old Hoover was doing such a poor job that I postponed vacuuming, thus making the task even harder. I was thrilled to find a vacuum with such good reviews for such a low price.
For vacuuming that rug, the vacuum is excellent. However, I decided that I would like to ditch my canister vacuum if possible to save storage space. The hose for this vacuum is much too short to make the vacuum a good substitute for a canister model.
Since the order form with my Hoover showed the extra long hose, Hoover 40200024, I decided to order that. A little research online indicated that it was not recommended for this model. I ordered it anyway and first thought it would nearly fit this model but not quite. However, my husband got it to fit easily, and now I am able to do so also.
I am still not sure that I will get rid of my canister. The extra-long hose has to be stretched firmly to get its full length, which is less than as described. When you stretch it firmly, it tends to pull the vacuum over as others have complained about the shorter hose that is included. I have used the longer hose only once, however. Perhaps I will find it more useful as time goes on.Get more detail about Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum.
