Lowest Price Hoover U5140-900 Tempo Widepath Bagged Upright Vacuum

I purchased this vacuum about 6 months ago and I was very pleased when it first arrived. We had a vacuum that was picking stuff up, but it was also leaving a line of dirt on the floor everytime you went from pulling it backwards to going forward again. And it smelled really bad when it was running. After reading glowing reviews about this low-priced vacuum, we went ahead and purchased. Now it won't even pick up cat hair even if you run over it again and again. It still seems to work on our hardwood floors, but we really need it to take the cat hair off the rugs. I tried our older vacuum yesterday, and it worked better than our new Hoover.
