This vacuum's suction works great for the price! If you are not vacuuming a large space this is a good vacuum. There are two cons - the power cord is too short and the hose, also too short, is not conveniently placed on the vacuum. The cord's length requires me to frequently change outlets which wastes time. To use the hose I must either use it with my left hand (this is uncomfortable since I am right-handed)or turn the machine around and roll it.
