Light weight and has strong suction! -when not using the extension hoes. The extended hoes suction isn't that great however. I used it to vaccum the inside of my car and it didn't work out too well being the tube was short and the suction being weak. I bought this because it was rated the best vaccum for the price and proformed a lot better than the higher end vacs as well. This was in the consumer guide magazine. The vaccum was discontinued and I guess they brought it back. You can find this vaccum at Best Buys, but the best prices even with shipping charges is on online. I bought mine on amazon. It was around $90 at Best Buys compared to $60 here on amazon. Anyway, I am very happy with my purchase and considering I finally replaced my old 90's model Hoover Legacy II- I am extra pleased.
